Xailient Gains GLI Validation for Casino Eye-D Facial Recognition
Gaming Laboratories International has formally validated Xailient’s Casino Eye-D platform, marking a critical step for the adoption of edge-based AI facial recognition in gaming venues. The independent assessment confirms the system’s ability to integrate with management software for patron identification, loyalty programs, and automated anti-money laundering monitoring.

The validation process scrutinized the platform’s capacity for enterprise-scale biometric processing and its ability to interface with existing casino management systems without interfering with actual game functionality. By confirming these technical specifications, Xailient aims to provide regulators and operators with the transparency required to deploy AI-driven guest recognition tools across gaming floors.
CEO Lars Oleson noted that independent verification remains essential as casinos shift toward AI to improve both guest experiences and security protocols. The platform currently supports automated enrollment, identity management, and the identification of excluded patrons. Xailient has already secured integrations with major providers, including Konami Gaming and Light & Wonder, and recently received approval for trial deployments in New South Wales, Australia. The company intends to showcase the technology’s latest capabilities at the G2E conference in Las Vegas this October.
