USD.AI and BSQ Capital Launch $300M GPU Financing Venture for APAC
A new joint venture between USD.AI and Singapore-based BSQ Capital Partners aims to deploy $300 million in senior secured loans for AI infrastructure across the Asia-Pacific region. By collateralizing GPU fleets, the partnership seeks to bridge a financing gap for operators in markets ranging from Japan to India.

The initiative provides operators with term loans secured by first-priority claims on high-performance compute hardware and related contractual cash flows. While the initial deployment is capped at $300 million, the venture includes a pathway to scale to $1 billion as project originations grow. BSQ Capital Partners will serve as the investment manager, leveraging its regional presence to source deals in Australia, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and beyond.
Traditional banks have largely struggled to underwrite compute hardware, often leaving independent operators with limited access to capital despite holding high-value assets. USD.AI addresses this by using its proprietary underwriting platform to transform GPUs into financeable collateral, offering an alternative to standard corporate balance sheet lending. According to BSQ co-founder David Woo, this structure allows operators to secure institutional capital at the speed required for rapid infrastructure scaling. The collaboration combines BSQ’s local underwriting expertise with USD.AI’s specialized, on-chain settlement model to accelerate the build-out of the region's compute backbone.
