Since its inception in 2021, the Foundation has deployed approximately $50 million across 70 organizations in the United States and the United Kingdom. The latest recipients—Building Skills NY, The Doe Fund, The Door, Fountain House, and the Marcy Lab School—were selected by a 15-member council of CD&R employees who evaluate local executive leadership and community impact.

Randy Moore, President of the CD&R Foundation, stated that the organization prioritizes long-term support to address the diverse challenges facing job seekers. The selected groups operate across varied sectors: Building Skills NY focuses on construction trades, while The Doe Fund provides paths out of homelessness through paid training. Other partners focus on youth development, mental health support, and technology career pathways for underrepresented young adults. CD&R Chairman Don Gogel emphasized that these partnerships rely on the active involvement of the firm's staff, who contribute their professional expertise alongside financial resources to sustain these community programs.
