LaserAway Hits 224 Clinics as It Marks Two Decades of Growth
With the launch of a new facility in Doral, Florida, LaserAway has reached 224 locations nationwide. The milestone arrives as the aesthetic dermatology company celebrates its 20th anniversary, maintaining a streak of continuous expansion since its founding in 2006 without a single clinic closure.
The new site at 3737 NW 87th Ave, Suite 106, represents the scale of a business that began as a single clinic on Sunset Boulevard. Founders Dr. Roy Winston and brothers Scott, Brock, and Todd Heckmann built the brand on the premise of making aesthetic treatments accessible to a broader public. Unlike many retail-based medical providers, the company remains entirely privately owned, eschewing the franchise model to maintain operational control across its 36-state footprint.
CEO Scott Heckmann noted that the mission remains rooted in the initial goal of combining medical precision with convenience. The company currently employs over 700 nurses and utilizes a medical board of 25 board-certified dermatologists, overseen by Chief Medical Officer Dr. Will Kirby. The Doral location will offer standard services, including laser hair removal, Botox, dermal fillers, and body contouring, alongside their wellness injection line.
