Sage Park Austin Secures Great Place to Work Certification
Sage Park Austin has achieved official Great Place to Work certification, a milestone reached under the operational oversight of Watercrest Senior Living Group. The recognition follows a rigorous staff survey assessing workplace trust, leadership effectiveness, and overall employee experience within the senior care community located in northwest Austin.
This designation marks the ninth consecutive year that Watercrest Senior Living Group has earned the honor. The certification process relied on direct feedback from Sage Park associates, who evaluated their professional environment, opportunities for growth, and the personal impact of their care work. According to Marc Vorkapich, Principal and CEO of Watercrest, the achievement reflects a culture built on servant leadership and the Principles of Service.
Since assuming management of the facility—formerly known as Juniper Village at Spicewood Summit—in August 2025, Watercrest has repositioned the site and expanded its operational footprint into Texas. Beyond this new certification, the facility recently secured a 5.0 out of 5.0 rating from U.S. News & World Report in its 2025-26 Best Senior Living Communities rankings for nursing homes and short-term rehabilitation. Sage Park Austin continues to provide assisted living and skilled nursing services at its 4401 Spicewood Springs Road location.
