Corgi Insurance Hires Jeremy Eisemann to Lead Policy and Legal Strategy
Navigating the intersection of artificial intelligence and insurance regulation requires a seasoned hand, prompting Corgi Insurance to appoint Jeremy Eisemann as its new Head of Government Affairs and Associate General Counsel. Eisemann arrives as the firm looks to solidify its influence among regulators and policymakers in a shifting risk landscape.
Eisemann joins the San Francisco-based company after serving as Vice President of State Government Affairs at the Reinsurance Association of America. There, he managed regulatory engagement for the global reinsurance sector, focusing on catastrophe risk and data governance. His career also spans over fourteen years at Liberty Mutual, where he navigated complex legal and cybersecurity matters. At Corgi, he will oversee the company's legislative strategy and legal operations, working directly with leadership to address the specific insurance challenges posed by emerging technologies.
General Counsel Peter Skaliy noted that Eisemann’s background in both reinsurance and government relations is vital for the company’s growth. As an AI-native insurer, Corgi has secured $374 million in funding to date, reaching a valuation of $2.6 billion. The appointment signals a deeper commitment to integrating technical innovation with the stringent regulatory frameworks governing modern insurance markets.
