Skanska Sells Sollentuna Rental Project to Folksam Group for 570 Million
With a transaction value of SEK 570 million, Skanska has offloaded its Traktören 20 rental development in central Sollentuna to the Folksam Group. The deal, finalized through KPA Pension, marks a significant shift in the Swedish residential market as the developer prepares to break ground later this year.

The project, located in Tureberg, will feature 154 rental apartments spanning approximately 8,700 square meters. The complex is designed to reach between five and seven stories, including an underground parking facility. Skanska confirmed the construction contract is valued at SEK 320 million, which will be integrated into the firm’s second-quarter order intake for 2026.
Sustainability remains a core component of the development, with the buildings targeting energy class B and Miljöbyggnad Silver certification. Skanska intends to minimize the project's climate footprint across its entire life cycle. Preparatory site work is already underway, with full-scale construction slated to begin in the third quarter. The official handover to the Folksam Group is scheduled for the first quarter of 2029, coinciding with the project's completion.
