The research, published in the journal SLEEP, compared baseline experiences of standard laptop users against those utilizing Dell XPS configurations featuring either Eyesafe Display or the more advanced Eyesafe IQ software. Participants who integrated the Eyesafe IQ system reported a 54% improvement in sleep quality and a 66% reduction in eye strain. Beyond wellness metrics, users noted a 61% boost in productivity, suggesting that managing screen light exposure directly impacts daily performance.

Eyesafe IQ functions by making imperceptible adjustments to light output in real time, avoiding the color shifts often associated with traditional blue light filters. While the standard Eyesafe Display showed marked improvements over conventional screens, the intelligence layer provided by Eyesafe IQ delivered the most robust results, with every participant in that cohort rating their visual comfort as better or much better than their previous devices. These findings highlight a shifting consumer expectation for premium hardware that prioritizes long-term well-being alongside technical performance.
