Deltek Shuffles Executive Suite to Bolster AI and Cloud Strategy

Larkin joins the Herndon-based company from UKG, where she served as Senior Vice President of Finance. Her background in SaaS transformation and cloud-era financial operations aligns with Deltek’s focus on scaling its project-based business platforms. President and CEO Bob Hughes noted that Larkin’s experience is critical for the company’s current inflection point, which involves deepening AI capabilities and expanding global delivery.

Tracy Schampers, previously the Chief Legal Officer, will now oversee a broader portfolio that includes Human Resources, Enterprise Security, and Technology Services. By consolidating these functions, Deltek aims to foster faster decision-making and closer alignment across the organization. The leadership transition marks the end of a decade-long chapter for departing executives Mike Krone and Ed Hutner. While Hutner retired effective July 1, 2026, Krone will remain with the company through the fourth quarter to facilitate a smooth handover of financial responsibilities to Larkin.
