World Insurance Associates Acquires Maryland-based Still Creek
Expanding its footprint in the Mid-Atlantic, Iselin-based World Insurance Associates has finalized the acquisition of Rockville-based Still Creek Insurance. The deal, which closed on March 1, 2026, integrates the Maryland agency’s portfolio of auto, home, business, and life insurance into World’s national brokerage network.
Still Creek Insurance operates under the leadership of partners Steven Bender, Kevin Rowe, and David Wexler. The agency built its reputation on a service-first model, prioritizing client collaboration to navigate coverage needs. According to the partners, the transition to World allows the firm to offer a significantly broader range of insurance products than they previously maintained as an independent entity.
Rich Eknoian, Executive Chairman and Founder of World, noted that the move strengthens the firm's regional position in Maryland. While terms of the acquisition remain private, the transaction involved legal guidance from Giordano, Halleran & Ciesla for the buyer and APEX Business Consulting LLC for the seller. World now operates out of more than 250 offices across the U.S. and U.K., providing a diverse suite of financial services including wealth management and retirement planning.
