Corgi Insurance Expands Startup Hub Concept to Atlanta Tech Village
The 24/7 community space for founders and investors has crossed the country, opening its second location inside Atlanta Tech Village. After establishing a flagship site in San Francisco, Corgi Cafe aims to turn the Buckhead startup hub into a permanent base for Southeast entrepreneurs and operators.
The expansion follows a rapid growth trajectory for the brand, which first launched its cafe concept in February. By embedding the space directly into the Atlanta Tech Village, Corgi targets the local ecosystem of builders and engineers who require a physical environment for hackathons and networking. Brooke LeBlanc, Head of Community at Corgi, described the initiative as a move to provide a dedicated 'third place' for founders regardless of their location, aiming to foster the next generation of billion-dollar ventures.
Local industry leaders view the arrival as a significant vote of confidence in the region's tech sector. Lucas Acosta, CEO of Foojee, noted that the cafe’s presence will intensify the activity and professional discourse already occurring in the area. The new facility, located at 3423 Piedmont RD NE, opens its doors to the public today. Corgi Insurance, a Y Combinator-backed firm that reached EBITDA-positive status earlier this year, continues to scale its operations beyond its established hubs in San Francisco, New York, and London.
