Bitton, a three-time Grammy-winning creative force, has spent his career defining the visual language of modern music through collaborations with figures like Quincy Jones and Lenny Kravitz. While he is celebrated for his portraits of cultural icons, Paris Blues offers a return to his roots. Raised in Paris until his teenage years, Bitton captures the city through a lens that balances the perspective of a local with the curiosity of a lifelong traveler.

The collection, rendered in luminous black and white, functions like a visual jazz composition. It drifts between recognizable landmarks and the quiet, hidden corners of the city, focusing on the rhythm of daily life rather than mere postcard scenery. The exhibition highlights the photographer’s deep personal connection to the city, which he describes as an alchemical force that turns fleeting moments into gold. To mark the Chicago debut, the gallery will host an opening reception on July 10 at 6:00 PM, followed by an artist talk and book signing at noon on July 11.
