Utah First Credit Union Cuts Auto Loan Rates to 3.50% APR
Salt Lake City residents facing inflationary pressures on transportation costs now have access to a 3.50% APR auto loan through Utah First Credit Union. The limited-time promotion, running throughout July, applies to vehicle upgrades, used-car purchases, and the refinancing of existing loans held by other financial institutions.
CEO Darin Moody noted that the initiative aims to provide families with tangible relief by lowering monthly payments and reducing interest burdens during the summer months. The offer is open to both new and existing members, with local financial experts managing approvals to ensure a personalized approach to credit underwriting.
Beyond the interest rate reduction, the credit union is incentivizing travel through August 31, 2026. Cardholders using Orange Platinum Visa or debit cards earn triple rewards points on gas and electric vehicle charging purchases. Interested borrowers can complete applications online, by phone, or at any branch location before the July 31 deadline.
