Apollo Scooters Overhauls Best-Selling Commuter Lineup

Montréal-based Apollo Scooters has opened pre-orders for the City 2.0 and City Stellar, a complete redesign of the company's signature commuter series. Shipping in the fourth quarter of 2026, the new models incorporate the full Apollo feature suite, including Apple Find My integration and self-healing tires, into the established frame.

The 2026 update marks the most significant technical departure for the platform since its 2022 debut. The City 2.0 features a single 1,900W peak motor capable of reaching 32 mph with a 40-mile range. For riders requiring additional torque, the City Stellar introduces a dual-motor configuration, delivering 2,400W of combined peak power and a top speed of 34 mph.

Both scooters share the new "Apollo Signature" build, which includes the Mach controller for refined acceleration and regenerative braking, IP66-rated weather protection, and the DOT 2.0 display with an integrated Quad Lock mount. CEO Maciek stated that the goal was to retain the trusted form factor while standardizing high-end features across the fleet. Apollo is positioning these models with aggressive pre-order pricing—$1,449 for the City 2.0 and $1,599 for the Stellar—backed by a lifetime frame warranty and a service network spanning over 60 North American locations.
