Evolv Debuts Oral Peptide Supplement for Hair Growth
A 12-week placebo-controlled study serves as the foundation for Evolv Grow, a new oral supplement utilizing the proprietary EV2 Peptide™ to stimulate hair density and follicle activity. The product, which targets both men and women, is now available through the company’s website and the Equinox Hotel Spa in New York City.
The supplement centers on the EV2 Peptide™, a platform engineered to deliver GHK-Cu biology alongside marine collagen and bioactive copper. By focusing on internal delivery, the formula aims to bypass the need for invasive procedures or hormonal treatments. Dr. Cory Henderson, co-founder of Evolv, noted that the product seeks to fill a gap in the market by offering a science-first alternative to traditional supplements.
Independent research conducted on 60 participants suggests early efficacy. Interim data from the 14-day mark of the ongoing study reported 39% greater hair growth and a four-fold improvement in thickness compared to the placebo group. Researchers observed an average increase of 1.11 cm in length and 0.40 cm in thickness among subjects during this period.
The product line splits into two specific formulations. The version for men focuses on crown and hairline thinning, while the women’s formula addresses diffuse shedding and thinning at the temples or part. CEO Becca McCarthy emphasized that the launch aligns with a shift in consumer behavior, where hair maintenance is treated as a component of broader preventative wellness rather than a separate cosmetic routine. Each supply retails for $128.
