Insta360 Launches Costco-Exclusive Luna Ultra Bundle
Insta360 has released a specialized Luna Ultra package exclusively through Costco, bundling the standard camera kit with over $169 worth of additional gear. The set aims to lower the barrier for entry-level filmmakers and travelers by providing essential audio and visual upgrades in a single, ready-to-use purchase.
The new offering pairs the standard Luna Ultra—which includes a protective cover, a 1/4" thread handle, and a wrist strap—with three specific add-ons: a Mic Air transmitter, a black mist filter, and a dedicated carry bag. Max Richter, co-founder and VP of Marketing at Insta360, noted that the bundle is designed to make the company's hardware ecosystem more approachable for creators who need increased flexibility without committing to a professional-grade package.
The inclusion of the black mist filter allows users to soften highlights and create a cinematic texture, while the Mic Air transmitter provides a direct path to improved audio quality for vlogging and interviews. By positioning this set between the basic standard edition and the more expensive Creator Bundle, Insta360 is targeting casual users who prioritize portability and ease of use.
