Andrew Garrihy Named Chief Marketing Officer at OLX Group
Returning to the company after serving as a senior advisor, Andrew Garrihy has taken the helm as Chief Marketing Officer at OLX Group. Reporting directly to CEO Christian Gisy, Garrihy is tasked with integrating artificial intelligence into the core of the firm’s global marketing operations starting July 1, 2026.
Garrihy brings a resume spanning over 170 countries, with previous tenures at Huawei, Samsung, and Vodafone. His history with the online classifieds leader includes a stint as CMO of OLX Autos between 2022 and 2023. At the group level, he is expected to leverage his technical background to move beyond peripheral AI adoption, focusing instead on rebuilding marketing functions around the capabilities of new digital agents and automated tools.
His appointment comes as the company reports a 28% year-on-year revenue increase, reaching US$992 million for the fiscal year ending March 31, 2026. This growth is supported by a long-term investment strategy that has poured over $200 million into AI infrastructure since 2018. CEO Christian Gisy emphasized that Garrihy’s specific vision for AI-driven marketing was the deciding factor in his selection for the executive team.
