Before his tenure at Vanderbilt, Lutz spent the majority of his career in senior leadership positions at IBM. His background includes serving as President of IBM Canada and managing global financial services and process services sectors. This track record of operational transformation and P&L management aligns with the strategic direction ePlus aims to maintain as it navigates the evolving technology landscape.

Mark Marron, CEO and President of ePlus, highlighted Lutz's performance-driven history as a key asset for the board. Lutz, a Harvard graduate, will now focus on guiding the company’s growth in areas such as artificial intelligence, cloud infrastructure, and cybersecurity. His appointment follows the company's ongoing efforts to strengthen its leadership as it scales operations across its international network.
