SuperCom Secures Michigan Contract, Ousting Decade-Long Incumbent

SuperCom has officially entered the Michigan market, winning a county-level electronic monitoring contract that displaces a provider entrenched for over ten years. This move marks the company’s expansion into its 18th U.S. state since mid-2024, as it continues an aggressive push to capture regional offender supervision programs.

The agreement, which covers the county's pre-trial and work release division, follows a two-week live evaluation process where SuperCom’s PureOne GPS technology was tested against existing systems. Company officials confirmed that deployment and training for the project are scheduled to commence next month. The contract utilizes a recurring revenue model based on daily active units, a structure the firm has employed to scale its operations across the country.

CEO Ordan Trabelsi noted that the win is part of a broader growth trajectory that has seen the company secure more than 40 new contracts and establish 17 service provider partnerships in the last two years. Supported by a trailing twelve-month EBITDA of $10.3 million, SuperCom is leveraging these local deployments to bolster its competitive standing for larger national opportunities. The Michigan project serves as a key reference point as the company continues its efforts to displace legacy providers in the electronic monitoring sector.
