The summons, filed in the Netherlands, names Robert Cialdini, Bobette Gorden, Samir Patel, Christopher Phelps, and their respective entities, Influence At Work LLC and Cialdini Institute LLC, as defendants. Wouters, who played a central role in the institute's international expansion, contends that his shareholder interests and business assets were compromised by the defendants' actions. Central to the filing are claims regarding intellectual property, contractual breaches, and a contested transfer of Wouters’ majority stake in the organization.

Tim Delmée, counsel for Wouters, confirmed that the allegations are detailed in the formal summons, noting that the defendants will have the opportunity to contest these claims in court. As of now, no judicial authority has ruled on the merits of the case. The legal proceedings remain ongoing, with a comprehensive set of exhibits and documentation provided by the plaintiff now available for public review via a dedicated case portal.
