Goliath Launches Butt Face: A Toy Built on Fart Humor
In an attempt to capitalize on the universal appeal of bathroom humor, toy manufacturer Goliath is releasing Butt Face this July. The interactive character, named Chester Cheeks, is designed to engage children through a combination of flatulence-based sound effects, choreographed dance routines, and a distinct, personality-driven backstory.

Chester Cheeks functions through a simple squeeze mechanism that triggers a variety of farting noises. Once the tactile interaction stops, the toy transitions into one of three songs accompanied by dance movements. Brian Weiss, President of North America and Global Toys at Goliath, noted that the product leverages the inherently funny nature of flatulence to create an interactive experience that invites repeat play.
The toy arrives with a collectible biography detailing Chester’s personality and signature moves, aiming to build a broader narrative around the character. Goliath intends to position this item as a holiday season staple, banking on the idea that silly, chaotic play remains a reliable draw for the target demographic. Starting this month, the character will be available at major retailers including Walmart, Target, and Amazon.
