Displate names Nicholas Holdcraft CEO to spearhead U.S. expansion
Nicholas Holdcraft, a veteran executive with 25 years of experience scaling consumer brands, has been tapped as the new CEO of Displate. His primary mandate is to accelerate the company’s North American footprint, shifting the focus toward localized manufacturing and aggressive retail growth for the metal poster marketplace.

Holdcraft joins the Warsaw-based company following leadership roles at DR SMILE and Expondo, where he specialized in international market development and digital-first platform growth. His arrival marks a transition for Displate as it pivots from a European-centric model to a more robust global operation. Central to this strategy is the imminent launch of a dedicated manufacturing facility in Louisville, Kentucky, designed to bypass current logistics hurdles and shorten delivery timelines for U.S. customers.
Beyond domestic operations, Holdcraft will oversee a broadening of the company’s intellectual property portfolio. The roadmap includes deepening ties with existing partners like Marvel, Star Wars, and Netflix, while advancing a new collaboration with the NBA. By prioritizing an omnichannel strategy and expanding into mass retail channels like Amazon, Holdcraft intends to transition the brand into a global powerhouse for collectible art. The company currently connects over 55,000 independent artists with a fan base that has purchased more than 13 million metal posters worldwide.
