Pingtairong Group Scales Green Fisheries Strategy in Angola
During the 2026 Sustainable Markets Initiative China Forum in Beijing, Pingtairong Group unveiled plans for a 520 million yuan fishery industrial park in Angola. The project aims to integrate modern fleet operations with local aquaculture, marking a significant expansion of the company’s footprint in African maritime markets.

Chairman Ni Jianbo, representing the firm as a core member of the SMI China Council’s Marine and Fisheries Working Group, participated in the 4th China International Supply Chain Expo. At the event, he championed the adoption of Marine Stewardship Council standards to enhance supply chain resilience, citing the company’s own experience with tuna projects on the high seas.
Founded in 2007, the Zhoushan-based enterprise currently manages a diverse industrial chain spanning biotechnology, cold-chain logistics, and shipbuilding. Its fleet includes specialized ultra-low temperature carriers capable of maintaining -60°C. By leveraging this infrastructure in Angola, the group intends to establish a cross-border trade platform designed to connect Chinese processing expertise with local labor markets and resources.
