Rural King Expands Ohio Presence With 31st Store in Ontario
The family-owned retailer Rural King is deepening its footprint in the Buckeye State with the launch of its 31st Ohio location. Situated at 600 Stumbo Road N. in Ontario, the new store aims to blend the company’s traditional rural-lifestyle focus with modern amenities like self-checkout and mobile payment options.
Grand opening festivities run from Friday, July 10, through Sunday, July 12. During the weekend, shoppers who sign up for the RK Rewards program will be entered into a drawing for one of four $500 gift cards. The retailer is maintaining its long-standing tradition of offering complimentary refreshments, alongside its characteristic inventory of farm, home, and outdoor gear.
Chief Operating Officer Michael Ladd noted that the Ontario expansion reflects a strengthening bond with local farmers, families, and outdoor enthusiasts. The store stocks a wide array of specialized brands, including Carhartt, Stihl, and Ariat, covering everything from livestock feed and automotive supplies to seasonal home décor. Beyond retail, the company continues its local engagement through partnerships with organizations such as 4-H, the FFA, and the Gary Sinise Foundation, reinforcing a commitment to the communities it serves.
