The rollout introduces several pillars of the company’s long-term business model, including the launch of community memberships and a dedicated online store for athlete-branded merchandise. A public playable demo for the company's flagship title, CryptoBoxers, is set for release this August. To support this growth, the organization has initiated a community funding campaign with a $100,000 target, intended to scale athlete onboarding and platform development.

PlayChange is also opening its Independent Artist Initiative, a creative program seeking original music from global artists for inclusion in future trailers and game soundtracks. CEO Andrew Gilliam envisions the platform as an infrastructure that shifts the traditional gaming model by allowing athletes to retain ownership of the value they generate. The company plans to utilize Unity for its initial demo release before transitioning to Unreal Engine to accommodate higher visual fidelity. The full version of CryptoBoxers is scheduled for release in the fourth quarter of 2026, serving as the primary proof-of-concept for this athlete-centered ecosystem.
