Separator Spares & Equipment Named Authorized Rivertrace Distributor
Houma-based Separator Spares & Equipment, LLC has secured a deal to serve as an authorized distributor for Rivertrace Limited, expanding its reach into precision marine environmental monitoring. The agreement adds Rivertrace’s suite of oil content detection and discharge monitoring systems to the supplier’s existing portfolio of marine compliance hardware.
The partnership allows Separator Spares & Equipment to supply genuine OEM parts and specialized monitoring systems, including the SMART BILGE 15 PPM monitors and SMARTSAFE ORB bilge security systems, to commercial operators and shipyards. These technologies are critical for vessels attempting to navigate the complex regulatory environment set by the International Maritime Organization and MARPOL standards.
Ryan Picou, COO of Separator Spares & Equipment, noted that the move addresses the increasing demand for reliable environmental compliance tools. By combining Rivertrace’s hardware with its own technical support network, the company aims to reduce the risk of operational downtime and potential non-compliance penalties for its clients. This appointment broadens the supplier’s existing catalog, which already includes centrifugal separators, heat exchangers, and various filtration solutions for the offshore energy and inland waterway sectors.
