Zuke’s Launches National Park Conservation Initiative
To protect the wild spaces frequented by hikers and their pets, Zuke's is rolling out limited-edition treat packaging dedicated to Acadia, Sequoia, and Shenandoah national parks. The company has pledged to match consumer donations up to $25,000 per location through the end of 2026 to bolster local conservation efforts.

Starting this July, pet owners can find specially marked packages in retail outlets including Target, Petco, and Meijer. Each bag features a QR code directing buyers to a donation portal managed by the park’s respective nonprofit partner. The initiative aims to double the financial impact of every contribution made by the public, ensuring that nonprofits like Friends of Acadia and the Sequoia Parks Conservancy receive targeted funding for stewardship projects.
"Some of the best moments with our dogs happen outside," said J.P. Vella, senior brand manager for Zuke's. By aligning specific product lines—such as Mini Naturals for Acadia or Trail Mix for Sequoia—with the unique geography of each park, the company hopes to encourage hikers to invest in the trails they traverse. All proceeds raised through the matching program go directly to park partners, supporting the preservation of thousands of miles of dog-friendly terrain.
