TXOne Networks Targets OT Security Gridlock with New Initiative

Industrial security teams are drowning in vulnerability reports but starving for clear remediation strategies. With thousands of findings piling up, the challenge has shifted from identifying cyber risks to deciding which ones require immediate intervention without paralyzing production lines or ignoring legacy system constraints.

TXOne Networks is launching an educational program titled "A Score Is Not a Plan" to address this mounting operational friction. The initiative aims to bridge the gap between discovery and risk reduction, moving beyond automated assessment tools that merely highlight vulnerabilities without providing context.

Principal Solutions Engineer Quentin Kantaris noted that while visibility is a foundational element of modern OT security, it does not inherently lower risk. The program consists of three sessions designed to help practitioners navigate the tension between security requirements and uptime mandates. Participants will examine why severity scores often fail to reflect urgency in an operational environment and how to align remediation roadmaps with real-world maintenance schedules. The series kicks off on July 9 at 10:00am PT, offering a framework for organizations to turn raw data into targeted security action.
