CeraVe Mobilizes Volunteer Dermatologists for World Skin Health Day
With over one billion people currently lacking access to dermatological care, CeraVe is marking World Skin Health Day 2026 by deploying volunteer medical professionals to underserved communities. The initiative centers on the theme "Better Knowledge. Better Skin Health," aiming to bridge critical gaps in clinical resources and patient education.

For the third consecutive year, CeraVe is partnering with the International League of Dermatological Societies and the International Society of Dermatology to tackle global skin health disparities. The program focuses on the reality that in some regions, there is less than one dermatologist for every million residents. By expanding its Care For All platform, the brand is supporting 14 outreach projects across 13 countries, ranging from mobile clinics for Native American populations in Minnesota to specialized screenings in Cameroon and Jordan.
In the United States, the effort focuses on a collaboration with the National Association of Free & Charitable Clinics. Participating clinics will provide uninsured and underinsured patients with direct access to skin checks, preventative guidance, and professional consultations. Gene Colón, Global Senior Vice President of Medical Affairs and Communications at CeraVe, noted that the company views skin health as a human right, emphasizing that education remains the most effective tool for helping individuals recognize the signs of disease and seek timely intervention.
