The project centers on three intimate households, moving away from institutional layouts to emphasize the rhythms of daily life. By integrating Comfort Matters accreditation—a person-centered approach focused on quality of life—the organization intends to prioritize individual dignity over traditional clinical care routines. These residences will feature modern safety technologies while maintaining a familiar atmosphere intended to foster resident independence.

Funding for the initiative, officially named the A. William & Joanne Reynolds Memory Care Neighborhood, relies heavily on philanthropic support. CEO Kendra J. Urdzik noted that the development addresses the rising demand for dementia care in Northeast Ohio by creating a space that honors the personal identity of each resident. Beyond the immediate construction, the design includes provisions for future capacity expansion, signaling a long-term commitment to addressing the region's aging population needs.
