COTLIN Launches 15-Inch Undercounter Ice Maker for Home Bars
Homeowners looking to upgrade their entertaining spaces can now access commercial-grade clarity in a compact footprint. COTLIN has introduced the IMB55BI, a 15-inch undercounter unit designed to replace cloudy freezer ice with dense, clear bullet-shaped pieces for cocktails, iced coffee, and daily hosting needs.
The IMB55BI utilizes an advanced spray-type system that keeps water in constant motion during the freezing process. By minimizing trapped air, the machine produces clearer ice than traditional countertop models or standard freezer trays. Each piece measures approximately 1.1 inches by 1.5 inches, providing a substantial cooling element for premium beverages. The unit generates up to 52 pounds of ice daily and features an internal storage capacity of 26 pounds, ensuring a steady supply for gatherings.
Designed for seamless integration, the appliance measures 14.9 inches wide and 34 inches high, fitting beneath standard countertops. A front-facing ventilation system eliminates the need for side clearance, while a reversible door offers flexibility for various kitchen or wet bar layouts. CEO Owen noted that the device aims to move ice production from a utility task into a core part of the home drink experience, supporting everything from weeknight routines to weekend social events.
Maintenance is managed through a one-touch self-cleaning cycle, a hidden filter system with replacement alerts, and an LCD panel for status monitoring. The unit also allows for nine levels of ice thickness adjustment. Currently UL certified, the IMB55BI is available through major retailers including Amazon and Home Depot. COTLIN has set the launch price at $1,299.99, a $100 reduction from the standard MSRP, through July 31, 2026.
