EVA Air Secures Top Spot in 2026 World’s Best Awards
Over 200,000 travelers cast their votes to name EVA Air the world’s leading international airline in Travel + Leisure’s 2026 World’s Best Awards. The ranking marks a historic milestone for the Taipei-based carrier, which ascended to the top position by outperforming global competitors in cabin comfort and service quality.
The recognition follows a year of significant product upgrades for the airline, most notably the 2025 introduction of its fourth-generation Premium Economy Class. Chairman Steve Lin credited the achievement to the consistent dedication of the company’s staff and a strategic focus on premium in-flight amenities. The carrier, a member of the Star Alliance, has maintained a streak of industry honors, including an eleven-year run as a SKYTRAX 5-Star Airline.
Beyond this latest accolade, the airline continues to hold strong positions in safety and service rankings. AirlineRatings.com recently placed the carrier within its top 25 global airlines while awarding it a Seven Star PLUS safety rating. Founded in 1989, the company currently operates a fleet of over 80 aircraft serving 60 destinations across Asia, Europe, and North America.
