Paso Robles Winemakers Head to Pasadena for Exclusive Dinner
On August 6, 2026, Alexander’s Steakhouse in Pasadena transforms into an intimate classroom for the Paso Robles Winemaker Panel Dinner. Hosted by LearnAboutWine, the event offers guests a rare opportunity to engage directly with the grower-winemakers behind five notable labels while exploring the distinct terroir of California’s Central Coast.
The evening features a curated panel of industry hands-on experts, including representatives from Copia Vineyards and Winery, Lopai Cellars, Rococo Wine Co., Willow Creek Wine Co., and Caliza Winery. Rather than a standard tasting, the format emphasizes a dialogue between producer and consumer, focusing on the origins of their brands and the shifting challenges facing the modern wine industry.
Alexander’s Steakhouse will anchor the experience with a multi-course menu that reflects its signature Japanese-influenced American style. The meal begins with hamachi shots and Amaebi tempura prawns paired with white wines, followed by a choice of prime dry-aged New York strip, salmon, or a vegetarian entree served alongside a flight of reds. The event concludes with a final course of chocolate or cheese, again accompanied by red wine selections. Tickets for the 21-and-over dinner are currently available through the LearnAboutWine website.
