Narwal Shifts Strategy with Flow 2 White Flagship Launch

Moving away from the industrial aesthetic of standard robotics, Narwal is introducing a white colorway for its Flow 2 flagship model on July 16. The release targets the growing demand for minimalist home technology, wrapping high-end cleaning performance in a frosted glass and light-diffusing exterior meant to blend into modern living spaces.

The new design marks a pivot toward quiet luxury, emphasizing visual integration alongside technical capability. The base station features a fingerprint-resistant frosted glass panel and an ambient light bar that communicates status without the visual clutter typical of household appliances. This shift reflects a broader design trend favoring neutral palettes and Scandinavian-inspired interiors, where technology is expected to serve as a discreet feature rather than a dominant fixture.

Beneath the exterior, the device maintains the core specifications of the original Narwal Flow 2. It utilizes the FlowWash mopping system, which features a high-speed track mop capable of 140°F heat sanitization. Navigation is handled by the NarMind Pro system, an AI-driven platform that employs a cloud-based VLM Omni Model for object recognition. The robot offers specialized operating modes, including a 56.48 dB 'Baby Mode' for quiet operation and a 'Pet Mode' that identifies high-traffic areas and tracks pets remotely.

With a suction rating of 31,000Pa and a self-emptying dock designed for 120 days of maintenance-free use, the unit prioritizes automation. The Flow 2 White will retail at an MSRP of $1,499.99, though Narwal is positioning the launch with a $1,099.99 introductory price through July 31. Early registrants on the company website can access tiered store credits ahead of the public release on Amazon and the Narwal online store.
