Evans brings three decades of experience to the role, including previous tenures as CTO (EMEA) at UNICOM Global and engineering leadership at Music Tribe’s Midas Division. His mandate extends beyond mere product development; he will oversee the integration of AI-native delivery capabilities while ensuring ProofID’s internal workforce evolves alongside its service offerings. The appointment reflects a broader market shift where identity governance must now account for non-human entities with the same rigor as traditional human access.

CEO Tom Eggleston emphasized that the transition is primarily a human-centric challenge rather than a purely technical one. By embedding AI across its advisory and managed services, ProofID aims to solidify its position as a leader in identity security across EMEA and the Americas. Evans holds a Master of Engineering from the University of Manchester and will join the company's senior leadership team to drive this transformation end-to-end.
