Sony Updates Iconic Bridge Camera with the RX10 V
Sony has officially launched the RX10 V, the latest iteration of its long-standing bridge camera series. Designed to bridge the gap between fixed-lens convenience and professional performance, the new model pairs a familiar 24-600mm zoom range with significant internal upgrades to sensor processing and AI-driven autofocus capabilities.

The RX10 V retains the proven ZEISS 24-600mm f/2.4-4 Vario-Sonar T
Video performance receives a substantial boost with 4K60 recording using full-pixel readout and 5.4K oversampling, plus 4K120 high-speed options. Stability is addressed through Active Mode Image Stabilization, which pairs a new gyro sensor with updated algorithms to improve handheld footage. Creative flexibility is further expanded by the inclusion of 12 preset Creative Look profiles and an enhanced Dynamic Range Optimizer for backlit conditions. By integrating these advanced features into a compact form factor, Sony aims to provide a versatile alternative for photographers who want to avoid the bulk of interchangeable lens systems.
