A Florida Inventor Hopes to Simplify Litter Box Maintenance
Cleaning a cat litter box often turns into a balancing act between a scoop and a drifting trash bag, creating unnecessary spills. Seeking a cleaner solution, an inventor from Archer, Florida, has developed the LITTER CLIP, a device designed to anchor waste bags directly to the side of the box.

The LITTER CLIP functions by securing a bag in an open, upright position, allowing users to transfer waste without needing a second hand to hold the container or dragging a separate trash can into the room. Because it attaches directly to the existing box, the accessory eliminates the need for wall-mounted holders or bulky, free-standing units. Its design aims for universal compatibility, fitting various shapes and sizes of litter boxes to accommodate different household setups.
Currently represented by the invention-service firm InventHelp, the device is being positioned for potential licensing or direct sale to manufacturers. Interested parties can review the design via the project's website or by contacting Kristie Waldron at 352-222-0570.
