Renew Biotechnologies Consolidates Labs Under Single Brand
Utah-based Renew Biotechnologies has unified its subsidiaries, Wasatch BioLabs and Resonant, under a single corporate identity. The move aims to streamline access to the company’s sequencing-based diagnostics and translational research services while simplifying the path from biomarker discovery to clinical implementation for its partners and clients.
This rebranding effort does not involve new mergers, acquisitions, or shifts in leadership. Renew Biotechnologies has served as the parent company for both entities since its founding, and the transition will not disrupt existing contracts, laboratory operations, or quality systems. The consolidated platform integrates advanced sequencing capabilities with specialized workflows, including the NeuroLens blood-based liquid biopsy test for neurodegenerative conditions.
CEO Chad Pollard noted that the unified brand better reflects the company's trajectory in making complex biology more actionable. By housing its laboratory infrastructure and diagnostic product development under one name, the firm intends to accelerate the deployment of molecular technologies. The company remains focused on expanding its expertise in areas such as RNA therapeutic quality control, methylation technologies, and pharmacogenomics.
