Seal Beach Inventor Designs Retractable Roof Drainage System
Seeking to mitigate structural water damage, a Seal Beach-based inventor has developed the Snyder Invention, a specialized drainage tool designed to channel roof runoff away from home foundations. The device features a unique retractable mechanism, allowing it to collapse into a compact form when drainage is not required.

The system offers versatility for residential maintenance, as it can be adjusted to direct water flow to the left, right, or straight ahead. By improving how runoff is managed at the ground level, the product aims to safeguard foundations from the erosion and moisture buildup often caused by traditional, static gutter extensions.
The design has been submitted to the Los Angeles office of InventHelp, a firm specializing in invention services and patent referrals. The creator, Mark Snyder, is currently seeking licensing agreements or manufacturing partnerships to bring the product to the consumer market. Interested parties can review the design specifications at snyderinvention.com.
