Wicked Cutz and Cinnabon Launch Bakery-Inspired Bacon Jerky
A smoky strip of bacon glazed with the signature spices of a cinnamon roll is the unlikely star of a new partnership between Wicked Cutz and Cinnabon. The collaboration aims to disrupt the meat snack aisle by blending savory, high-protein fuel with the distinct, sugary profile of a classic bakery treat.

The debut product, Bakery Inspired Bacon Jerky, recently earned the title of Innovative Meat Snack of the Year at the Sweets & Snacks trade show. This rollout marks the beginning of a broader strategy to integrate dessert-inspired flavors into traditional protein-forward formats, including plans for meat sticks and jerky chips. According to Scott James, owner of Wicked Cutz, the alliance capitalizes on Cinnabon’s recognizable flavor identity to push the boundaries of what consumers expect from on-the-go snacks.
Dave Mikita, President of International and Retail Channels Licensing at GoTo Foods, noted that the project represents an effort to transition Cinnabon’s appeal into new snacking occasions. The product line is scheduled for a nationwide release across mass retailers, grocery stores, and convenience outlets throughout 2026. This move reflects a growing industry trend of balancing convenience with indulgent, comfort-focused ingredients to attract curious shoppers.
