This partnership arrives as Japan enters its formal "Reform Execution Period" for school clubs, a government-led initiative designed to alleviate teacher workloads and improve coaching quality. By shifting weekend club operations to private operators, the Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology aims to transition over 38,000 clubs to external providers within the 2026 fiscal year alone. Leifras estimates this shift across 9,800 junior high schools creates a potential market valued at 500 billion yen.

Leifras currently holds a leading industry position with 381 contracted schools and 2,120 supported clubs nationwide. The company relies on a network of 47 prefectures and a workforce of over 4,500 employees to maintain its operational standards. With a track record of zero major accidents since launching its support business in 2013, the firm leverages proprietary training and consistent field audits to secure its contracts with local governments.
