Anatomage Names Four Educators for 2026 Teaching Excellence Awards
Christopher White, Brian Spence, Jennifer Savage Burgett, and Amir Meraban have been named the 2026 recipients of the Anatomage Teacher Awards. The honors recognize instructors who have successfully integrated advanced medical visualization technology into their curricula to drive student engagement and improve learning outcomes across diverse academic levels.
The selection process focused on pedagogical creativity and the measurable impact of digital tools on student success. Christopher White of Brophy College Preparatory received the High School Outstanding Teacher Award, while Brian Spence of Tarrant County College and Dr. Jennifer Savage Burgett of Jacksonville State University were honored in the undergraduate and graduate categories, respectively. Amir Meraban, lead instructor at the UC San Diego School of Medicine, earned the Trailblazer Award for his implementation of Anatomage hardware in surgical anatomy laboratory training.
Each winner receives a $1,000 cash prize, a trophy, and an invitation to the 2026 Anatomage Conference.
