Nammos to Open Luxury Resort and Residences on Montenegro’s Coast
Ten minutes from the iconic islet of Sveti Stefan, a new luxury destination is taking shape on the Budva Riviera. Nammos Hotels & Resorts and Smokva Bay have announced a partnership to develop an integrated resort, branded villas, and a retail village, marking the brand’s entry into the Montenegrin market.

The project, slated for completion in 2029, will feature 117 keys, including 47 hotel suites, 61 branded residences, and 9 private villas. The architecture draws from Cycladic and Mediterranean traditions, utilizing natural materials and sculpted forms to blend into the rugged landscape. Beyond the accommodations, the development will house multiple dining concepts, including the signature Nammos Restaurant, the Nalu all-day dining venue, and the Ilios Lounge.
At the center of the site, Nammos Village will serve as a hub for art, wellness, and retail. The developers intend to emphasize the natural terrain, incorporating hiking and mountain biking trails that overlook the Adriatic. This expansion follows a broader trend of luxury hospitality growth in the region, driven by the UAE-based Mereha Developments, which is managing the delivery of the site. To build anticipation before the 2029 opening, a Nammos pop-up restaurant has launched at Sveti Stefan for the 2026 season.
