Cynosure Lutronic Launches XERF Skin Tightening Platform in Europe
With 67% of European and Saudi consumers signaling a clear preference for needle-free aesthetic procedures, Cynosure Lutronic is moving to capture the market. The company has officially introduced its XERF monopolar radiofrequency device to the EMEA region, aiming to meet rising demand for non-invasive skin rejuvenation.

The device distinguishes itself through a dual-frequency delivery system, oscillating between 6.78 MHz and 2 MHz in a single shot. This technical configuration allows energy to penetrate superficial, mid-dermal, and structural layers simultaneously. Following successful adoption in South Korea and the United States, the platform enters the European market backed by data from an independent Appinio study of 4,700 adults, which identified skin firming as a primary aesthetic priority for over half of all respondents.
To manage patient comfort without traditional numbing agents, the system utilizes WaveFit Pulse technology and an integrated cryogen cooling mechanism. Nikhil Nathwani, a representative for Cynosure Lutronic, noted that the company is responding to a specific clinical appetite for long-lasting results. While the platform is now available across the EMEA region, the company clarified that local deployment remains subject to specific regulatory and legal requirements in individual jurisdictions.
