The San Francisco-based company announced that its updated platform will integrate multichannel messaging, allowing administrators to distribute updates via email, voice, text, and app notifications from a single interface. By incorporating Canva design tools and one-click social media publishing, the platform aims to reduce the administrative friction that often hinders consistent communication. Jeff Buening, General Manager of ClassDojo, noted that the primary goal is not to introduce another layer of software, but to unify existing workflows into a more cohesive system for staff and families.

Beyond basic logistics, the update includes a schoolwide dashboard for tracking engagement trends and specific tools tailored for secondary education, including secure teacher-to-student messaging. The software also addresses the logistical hurdles of diverse school populations by providing automatic translation for over 190 languages. Internal data indicates that current adopters see significant engagement spikes, with 80% of families reading messages on the day of delivery. These new features are slated for rollout ahead of the 2026–27 school year, remaining free for educators and families.
