The tool addresses the repetitive challenges faced by utility workers when securing conductors. Its design prioritizes ease of installation and operation, offering a practical alternative to current manual practices. By automating the tensioning and winding process, the roller provides a consistent output that benefits electric power companies and field technicians alike.

A working prototype is currently available to demonstrate the device's utility in the field. The invention was submitted through the Birmingham office of InventHelp and is now being presented for potential licensing or commercial manufacturing deals. Interested parties can contact the company’s Pittsburgh headquarters to discuss the commercialization of this utility-focused hardware.
