A Tall Box Targets the Gap in Premium Denim for Tall Women

For years, women standing 5'9" and above have navigated a retail landscape that forces a compromise between length, fit, and style. Anastasia de Jong, a former Walmart buyer, intends to resolve this with the September 2026 launch of A Tall Box, a premium denim brand engineered specifically for tall frames.

The brand debuts with a Staple Collection featuring three distinct cuts: the Classic Slim for rectangle and apple shapes, the Curvy Slim for hourglass and pear figures, and the versatile Girlfriend fit. Every pair offers 35" and 37" inseams, spanning waist sizes 24 through 38. Built from 13 oz high-cotton denim, the jeans are designed for durability rather than fast-fashion turnover, retailing at $200 per pair.

De Jong developed the line after witnessing recurring frustration among customers in fashion retail, compounded by her own lifelong struggle to find clothing that accommodated both height and body shape. Based in Northwest Arkansas and co-founded with her husband, Stefan de Jong, the company positions itself as an intentional alternative to mass-market sizing. Preorders for the limited production run open in August 2026 via the brand’s website.
