The Telly Awards, which recognize excellence in video and digital storytelling, selected the series in the "Social Video – Series: Culture & Lifestyle" and "Branded Content – Campaign: Non-Scripted Documentary" categories. The project stood out alongside entries from major industry players like Paramount and Warner Bros. David Cygan, Chief Marketing Officer at Brookdale, noted that the recognition validates the company's shift toward authentic storytelling over traditional advertising.

"Make It Mine" tracks residents as they collaborate with professional interior designers to renovate their apartments within a single day. Beyond the visual transformation, the series emphasizes personal identity and the connections fostered within Brookdale communities. The digital campaign has resonated with audiences, accumulating 32 million video views, 57 million impressions, and 67,000 hours of watch time across its six seasons. With 543 communities across 41 states, Brookdale currently serves approximately 46,000 residents, leveraging this content to highlight the company’s focus on dignity and personal growth.
