Southwire Reshuffles Executive Suite to Drive Long-Term Growth
Southwire is injecting new leadership into its executive ranks, appointing three senior officials and expanding the portfolios of two veteran directors. These changes, effective by the end of July, aim to bolster the company's financial strategy, digital transformation, and organizational culture as it navigates the competitive electrical products market.

Nick Brazis, formerly of Pentair, joins as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, bringing over two decades of experience from roles at 3M and Caterpillar. Elizabeth Spence, previously the Chief Human Resources Officer at Graphic Packaging, steps into the role of EVP and Chief People and Culture Officer, focusing on leadership development and workforce engagement. Rounding out the new hires is Jeff Fleece, who transitions from Baker Hughes to serve as Senior Vice President and Chief Digital Information Officer, tasked with accelerating the firm’s ongoing digital shift.
Existing leadership will also see shifts in responsibility. Christy Wright, who has been with Southwire since 2007, expands her role to become EVP and Chief Supply Chain and Business Systems Officer. Meanwhile, Burt Fealing, the company’s General Counsel, adds oversight of Operational Sustainability and Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) teams to his existing responsibilities. CEO Ganesh Ramaswamy emphasized that these appointments are intended to leverage fresh perspectives to strengthen the company’s market position and drive generational growth.
