Community Partners Expand Richmond Vona Bike Giveaway to 21 Children
What started as a modest effort to distribute five bicycles has transformed into a larger community project, with Buffalo law firm Richmond Vona now set to donate 21 bikes to local children this Wednesday. The expansion follows an outpouring of support from regional businesses committed to the firm's summer initiative.

The event, scheduled for July 22 at the Pierce-Arrow Museum, represents a collaborative push to keep Buffalo’s youth active during the summer months. Co-founders John Richmond and Keith Vona will be joined by representatives from several local organizations, including Sweet Buffalo, The Imagine Group, Reimer Home Services, and Tom's Pro Bike. These partners stepped in to provide the additional resources necessary to quadruple the initial donation goal.
CEO John Richmond noted that the project serves as a testament to the city's communal spirit. The giveaway is a central component of the firm's #RVintheCommunity program, which focuses on local advocacy and youth engagement. Organizers plan to host the presentations between 9:30 and 11:00 a.m., providing space for families and sponsors to gather at the museum’s Michigan Avenue location.
